Your role
As a mechanic technician, you carry out maintenance and repair of vehicles. You inspect, you diagnose, you repair, you test and you document. It’s important to be rigorous: we maintain the standards of a dealership! We’re not worried: you do your job with precision and efficiency, and in the meantime, we can manage other things.

Responsibilities and tasks
Obtain repair orders from the technical advisor.
Inspect and diagnose the source of any malfunction.
Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Contact the parts department to obtain the necessary parts.
Record and label parts requested by the customer or under warranty.
Examine the vehicle to determine the need for additional safety or maintenance work.
Inform the technical advisor immediately if additional work is necessary, if the work described is not necessary or if repairs cannot be carried out within the allotted time.
Document the work carried out.
Test vehicles on the road to check the quality of the work carried out.
Attend training sessions and comply with “Elite Support” requirements in order to maintain certification.
Maintain a clean and orderly workshop.
Account for all company-owned tools.
Comply with health and safety regulations.
Perform any other necessary tasks

Training and experience
- Vocational studies diploma in heavy vehicle mechanics.
- Experience in the repair of heavy trucks.
Other requirements
- You have the stamina to stay on your feet during work hours.
- You are able to lift a moderate weight with assistance.
- You have computer skills.
